So I haven't been writing in here as much as I'd plan, turns out the end of the school year gets pretty busy with work, tests and more work! I've had an amazing past couple of weeks in New Orleans as well as visitng friends in Alabama! I decided to celebrate the Easter/Pass Over holiday by going to my very first Shabbat dinner,  Sunday service at a local Presbytarian Church and then an Easter brunch at the United Methodist Center. Quite the assortment, but it was fun! I only have three finals this semester so I am really trying to buckle down and do well on them! Saturday, Monday and Wednesday just need to go by smoothly! I only have one more day of work left at A's and Aces, the semester flew by and I couldn't believe I had my last days with the kids- I've posted my favorite essay as well as some pics of them presenting their work! After finals are done I'm staying on campus a couple of extra days to get everything packed up and then headed to my wonderful sisters, brothers, then up to NYC to visit  Webb once again and then finally back home to stay with my mom. I am glad that one of my best friends will be joining me at my brothers so I won't be driving the whole route myself. The whole roadtrip home should be great as long as my car cooperates! Well I should probably go to bed- I will be updating all my thank you's this weekend :D  Here are some pics from the last couple weeks!

I don't know if I've ever received mail that had made me  say "OH MY GOD! NOOO WAY!" quite like receiving an anonymous donation in the mail. It has covered the rest of the EWH fees and then some for my flight! Thank you again- you know who you are :) It has been a major relief knowing I won't be completely broke after this trip, it's rough as it is! I've been given an unbelievable gift and I'll be sure to use it to help in as many ways as I can! And thank you to everyone else who helped me fundraise- every donation counts and I'm so glad to know that you guys support my trip and efforts! My focus has now been turned to finishing up the school year with good grades and getting everything done in the classroom at A's and Aces for our Arthur Ashe essay contest. I will post my favorite essay when they finish :) The weather in New Orleans has been absolutely amazing and has already put me in summer mode! I cannot believe that I am already close to finishing my second year of college and will be graduating in another two. For Tanzania- there is just 70 days until my  flight departs and I am trying to complete all the little last steps to make sure I am ready to go! I am excited to soon have time to crack into my Swahili beginners book and read more about the culture
